Since planning the first meetup of 2010 with Kelly, I’ve had the privilege of meeting all kinds of characters, some who I’ve forgotten (sorry!), some who have been fun acquaintances, and others who became my best friends in Korea. Tumblrs have helped me transition into life in Korea and many have helped others with questions from abroad.

So, when the next meetup does roll around, whenever that is, I highly encourage you to attend. The Tumblr meetup veterans truly do enjoy when new Tumblrs come around. We’re not a clique. Other Tumblr friendships have formed who aren’t as public with theirs as some of us have been. So, please don’t be shy!

I’m going to be now passing on the control of this blog to seoulful, while kellyinkorea and gyopoeun are remaining admins as well. If you want to plan a meetup yourself, don’t be afraid to take initiative! Just send a message saying so!
